Happy August, Friends! Summer is winding down and our thoughts are heading in the direction of Autumn. As a kid, I never liked going back to school. I think I was always just ready for the real world and kind of biding my time until I could grow up! But I do love Fall. I love the weather, harvesting my garden, taking long walks, drinking warm drinks. When my brother played football, Fall was a time to catch the games. Sometimes in the heat and sometimes in the cold. Now, I visit my Hubby in the field and make sure the men have enough food to get through the long, long working days. Again, sometimes in the heat and sometimes in the cold!
It's a transition time. At church, we're transitioning from VBS, camps and summer specials back into a routine. We're starting a new curriculum that I'm excited about and will make available to you shortly! But I don't want to waste these last few weeks of summer. Below, I've compiled some resources to help you be intentional even in these dog days... There are some inexpensive activities to do with your kids, a free e-book about positive parenting and a classic audio theater collection.
The time you invest in children is never wasted. I'm praying for you!
